- Ajayi Crowther University, Ibadan (ACU) requires credit passes that must include English Language, Literature in English and three other subjects from Arts or Social Sciences.

- The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) requires credit level passes in Literature-in-English and an approved science subject plus at least a pass in Mathematics.
