JAMB Board Warns All Candidates on 2016 UTME Registration

Latest information reaching our news desk today, is that the management board of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) released an official statement on Wednesday, cautioning all intended candidates against patronising unapproved jamb utme 2016 registration centres while registering for the forthcoming UTME Computer Based Test (CBT).

According to the statement which was signed by JAMB’s Media and Information officer, Dr Fabian Benjamin, in Lagos State, Nigeria, discloses that some unsuspecting candidates are unknowingly patronising unapproved registration centers, the major effects of this, is that these centres are not legally registered and any candidate who patronized these centresare in danger of not been officially registered for the forthcoming jamb cbt 2016 examination.

Dr. Fabian Benjamin firmly said that for a candidate to be registered successfully, all candidates should please note that the JAMB’s registration for the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) should be done only at the board’s approved centres.

“The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (jamb) Computer Base Test (CBT) management has said that if any student finds himself/herself in such a situation, then Jamb won’t be held liable in the event of any irregularity, challenges or inaccessible data arising from the wrong registration.

“Once again, the JAMB senates wishes to urge all candidates to note that their registration should be done at its approved centres, to avoid certain challenges such as no results and incomplete results.

Please take note that the main reason why candidates should all registered at the approved centres, is for the candidates to have a complete results without any hitches or issues arising.

It is very important for all candidates to note that the registration will be ending this January 2016,”.
