How to Transfer Credit using SMS.
For those of you, who are very much interested in sending credit, you can transfer credit from your phone number to another MTN customer’s phone any time of the day, following the procedures below.
To transfer credit from MTN to another MTN sim card, you are to send an SMS like this: Transfer Recipient’s Number, Amount and PIN to 777.
For example, you can send an SMS with ‘Transfer 08031234567 1500 1234’ to 777.
Once you’ve sent the message, you will receive an SMS, which will ask you to confirm that you want to make the transfer. To confirm, simply send an SMS with ‘YES’ to 777. You will receive a message, saying it’s successful.
Take note that you can also transfer credit from your MTN line to another MTN customer’s phone number through the dialling method.
To send credit from your MTN line to another MTN line, simply dial *600*Recipient’s Number*Amount*PIN# on your phone and then click on send/press ok. For example dial *600*08031234567*1500*1234# and then send/ok.
When the transfer has been completed, you will receive a message from MTN, confirming that the transfer was a success.
How to Change MTN Transfer Code Pin.
If you want to change your mtn transfer code pin, all you need to do is to send an SMS with the old pin, or the default PIN New PIN New PIN to 777. For example, send an SMS with 0000 1234 1234 to 777. (If this is your first time of using the MTN share ‘n Sell platform to transfer credit, your default PIN is 0000)
