Agriculture has been and will always be one of the best courses to study. Because humans will always eat, no matter how technology evolved we get. With the growing numbers of Nigerians and humans in the world, it means more people need food, clothes, wood, and other products derived from agricultural resources.

This page is specially created to share with you in detail, the complete list of all Agricultural courses offered in Nigerian tertiary institutions.

Recommended: Social Sciences JAMB Subject Combinations for all Courses.

However, before sharing this list of NUC and NBTE-approved courses, allow me the opportunity to introduce and explain the meaning of Agriculture as a course.

Agricultural Courses

Introduction to Agricultural Courses.

Agriculture is the production of food and other goods by the systematic and controlled growth of plants and other living organisms.

Agriculture can also be defined as a multidisciplinary field consisting of a variety of scientific, technical and business subjects that promote the efficient production of quality food on the farm and in the agricultural food industry linked to farming.

Agricultural scientists do study farm crops and animals, and research better methods to improve their quantity and quality. Agriculture scientists are billed to search for better ways to improve crop yields and control pests and weeds effectively. They also conserve soil and water.
